Chain Conveyor Annealing Furnace for LPG Cylinder Stress Relieving Heat Treatment

The Chain-Conveyor Annealing Furnace (Model DB-YTH-A and similar series) is a professional continuous heat treatment furnace specially developed for LPG cylinder production lines. It is primarily applied for stress relieving and normalizing heat treatment of welded gas cylinders, eliminating welding residual stress, improving material ductility and structural stability, and ensuring the safety and durability of finished gas cylinders. This industrial annealing furnace supports multiple heating sources including LPG, natural gas, and fuel oil, offering flexible fuel adaptation to meet different factory energy configuration and production conditions. With fully automatic ignition, intelligent constant temperature control, and optional paper and paperless temperature data recording functions, the equipment realizes standardized, traceable, and unmanned heat treatment production, which is an essential core equipment for formal LPG cylinder manufacturing factories.

Different from batch-type heat treatment furnaces, our continuous chain conveyor annealing furnace adopts a three-stage segmented temperature control design, including preheating zone, constant temperature heating zone, and slow cooling zone. The scientific zoning process effectively avoids cylinder deformation, cracking and performance instability caused by rapid temperature change during heat treatment. The whole production process runs continuously and stably, with an hourly output reaching 180 to 250 LPG cylinders, perfectly matching medium and large-scale automated cylinder production lines. Targeted at 10–15 kg conventional welded LPG cylinders, this furnace realizes precise and consistent heat treatment within a process temperature range of 650°C to 720°C, with temperature control accuracy controlled within ±5°C, ensuring uniform heating effect for each workpiece and stable product quality.
In terms of heating and energy-saving configuration, the natural gas-fired version (8500 kcal/Nm³ calorific value) is equipped with 6 sets of high-speed burners with a single heat load of 150,000 kcal/h, adopting three-zone pulse intelligent combustion control technology. The overall thermal load of the equipment is about 743,750 kcal/h, with extremely low single-cylinder energy consumption, effectively reducing production costs. The fuel consumption per LPG cylinder is controlled within ≤0.30 Nm³, which has significant energy-saving and environmental protection advantages compared with traditional annealing furnaces. The furnace body adopts modular combined design, with single-section furnace module dimensions of 2500 × 1250 × 1450 mm and an inner opening of 650 mm. The furnace length and burner quantity can be customized according to customers’ daily production capacity requirements, realizing personalized configuration from small-batch to high-yield production.
For long-term continuous industrial operation, the equipment is equipped with a high-stability transmission drive system, composed of variable-frequency cycloidal pin-wheel reducer, high-temperature resistant chain and sprocket (600°C high-temperature resistance rating), and Φ22 stainless steel support components. The optimized drive structure ensures stable conveying, low noise and long service life in high-temperature working environments, avoiding jitter, stalling and workpiece deviation during cylinder conveying. In terms of intelligent control, the whole furnace adopts Siemens PLC + HMI touchscreen integrated control system, with independent backup temperature controllers reserved. It supports automatic temperature adjustment, real-time data monitoring, operation parameter recording and manual emergency switching, making the operation process simple, intuitive and highly intelligent.

Industrial heat treatment equipment prioritizes operational safety, and this LPG cylinder annealing furnace is equipped with complete safety protection systems. It features a power-loss automatic quick-shutoff valve for gas pipelines, branch end gas venting and purging devices, and over-temperature automatic alarm and protection functions. These multi-layer safety mechanisms effectively prevent gas leakage, over-temperature failure and equipment abnormalities, ensuring safe and compliant long-term operation of the production line.
